The Unitree Go2 image service is a functional module independently developed by Unitree Technology, which displays real-time camera transmitted videos and high-frequency radar scanned images (voxel images), and achieves different perspectives switching between camera videos and radar scanned images.

Video images

Video image is one of the core functions of the Unitree Go2 image service. The video image source mainly receives the camera video source data from the Go2 head and transmits it in real-time to the APP for display.

Radar scanning image

Radar scanning images (hereinafter referred to as 3D voxel maps) are also an important feature of Unitree Go2 imaging services. They continuously receive surrounding environmental information data scanned by radar hardware at high frequencies, and through calculation and processing, depict real-time 3D voxel maps.

There are two perspectives for displaying 3D voxel images: first person perspective and third person perspective.

The camera with a first person perspective will follow behind the GO2 model and perform corresponding operations synchronously as the model moves and rotates. The effect is as follows:

Double click on the screen to switch the perspective, from the first person perspective to the third person perspective. The effect of the third person perspective is as follows:
