This document outlines the steps to power on EVA, including ensuring the robot is removed from the box, battery and controller charge levels, releasing emergency stops, toggling the power switch, and observing the boot sequence. It also includes instructions for manually overriding the door in the event of no ROCOS connectivity.
Powering on EVA is straightforward with only a few steps to ensure that all components power on successfully.
There is a list of steps to make sure you have done
Ensure EVA is completely removed from the box
<aside> ⛔ WARNING - Eva needs both front steering wheel to be unobstructed, else the “boot up” sequence will fail and the robot will not correctly turn on.

Batteries status is shown in the “TX” bar in the top right of the LCD display
To switch the controller into control mode, switch the SWB switch into the middle position.

Now follow each of the following sections below
EVA has two emergency stops, one on the lower side panels on either side of the frame, as shown below.
To release these emergency stops, twist them counterclockwise and they should release to a “popped out” position.
<aside> ⚠️ The emergency stops will cut all power to the computer when pressed. These can be used to full halt the robot at any time.

The power toggle switch for EVA is hidden behind a removable panel on the rear of the bot. Depress the slot cover until an audible click sound is heard, then remove the slot cover.
Once open, turn the silver toggle switch clockwise until the marked end of the power toggle is pointed horizontally right.
